Ok, here we go my first blog....

Hi from S Florida where we live. I am starting this blog to just talk and blab about life as we go by. I am a graphic designer and recently have started writing freelance. I have been writing for a while, but just started to try getting money for it in the last few weeks. The reason for this is because 6 and 1/2 months ago my husband and I had a baby girl and I've taken a leave of absence from work to take care of her full time. So an idea occurred to me to start writing freelance. I have a few articles already published online (see links for these on the side column here...) and I am trying to get more done as well as try and get some readers for them and this blog. I haven't figure out how everything works yet, but I am learning.... I've recently realized that you can make some income by having ads on your blog and with your article. So I've been trying that as well, so far I've made 9¢ with Google Adsense, wow! At this rate I'll be rich in about 2000 years! Oh well, I'll figure it all out. I am just starting with all this internet marketing stuff, hopefully I can get it working so I don't have to spend too much time on that and more time writing which is what I really want to do! I am hoping to get enough writing samples from all the online publishing so that I can start writing for paper publications as well. Anyway, it's late! I better get to sleep! I will post more and also put up some pictures of the husband and baby, trips etc... Good night!
